The Exynos Chip ID driver on Exynos SoCs has so far only informational
purpose - to expose the SoC device in sysfs. No other drivers depend on
it so there is really no benefit of initializing it early.
The code would be the most flexible if converted to a regular driver.
However there is already another driver - Exynos ASV (Adaptive Supply
Voltage) - which binds to the device node of Chip ID.
The solution is to convert the Exynos Chip ID to a built in driver and
merge the Exynos ASV into it.
This has several benefits:
1. Although the Exynos ASV driver binds to a device node present in all
Exynos DTS (generic compatible), it fails to probe except on the
supported ones (only Exynos5422). This means that the regular boot
process has a planned/normal device probe failure.
Merging the ASV into Chip ID will remove this probe failure because
the final driver will always bind, just with disabled ASV features.
2. Allows to use dev_info() as the SoC bus is present (since
core_initcall).
3. Could speed things up because of execution of Chip ID code in a SMP
environment (after bringing up secondary CPUs, unlike early_initcall),
This reduces the amount of work to be done early, when the kernel has
to bring up critical devices.

ARM is the only architecture that defines CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_HOLES_MEMORYMODEL
which in turn enables memmap_valid_within() function that is intended to
verify existence of struct page associated with a pfn when there are holes
in the memory map.
However, the ARCH_HAS_HOLES_MEMORYMODEL also enables HAVE_ARCH_PFN_VALID
and arch-specific pfn_valid() implementation that also deals with the holes
in the memory map.
The only two users of memmap_valid_within() call this function after
a call to pfn_valid() so the memmap_valid_within() check becomes redundant.
Remove CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_HOLES_MEMORYMODEL and memmap_valid_within() and rely
entirely on ARM's implementation of pfn_valid() that is now enabled
unconditionally.

A separate Kconfig option HAVE_S3C2410_WATCHDOG for Samsung SoCs is not
really needed and the s3c24xx watchdog driver can depend on Samsung ARM
architectures instead.
The "HAVE_xxx_WATCHDOG" pattern of dependency is not popular and Samsung
platforms are here exceptions. All others just depend on
CONFIG_ARCH_xxx.
This makes the code slightly smaller without any change in
functionality.

Add a simple custom voltage regulator coupler for Exynos5800 SoCs, which
require coupling between "vdd_arm" and "vdd_int" regulators. This coupler
ensures that the voltage values don't go below the bootloader-selected
operation point during the boot process until the clients set their
constraints. It is achieved by assuming minimal voltage value equal to
the current value if no constraints are set. This also ensures proper
voltage balancing if any of the client driver is missing.
The balancing code comes from the regulator/core.c with the additional
logic for handling regulators without client constraints applied added.

Not all exynos device have IRQ_COMBINER, especially aarch64 EXYNOS
but it is built for all exynos devices.
Thus add the config for EXYNOS_IRQ_COMBINER
remove direct dependency between ARCH_EXYNOS and exynos-combiner.c

Fix up inconsistent usage of upper and lowercase letters in "Samsung"
and "Exynos" names.
"SAMSUNG" and "EXYNOS" are not abbreviations but regular trademarked
names. Therefore they should be written with lowercase letters starting
with capital letter.
The lowercase "Exynos" name is promoted by its manufacturer Samsung
Electronics Co., Ltd., in advertisement materials and on website.
Although advertisement materials usually use uppercase "SAMSUNG", the
lowercase version is used in all legal aspects (e.g. on Wikipedia and in
privacy/legal statements on
https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/privacy-global/).

We get a link error for configurations that enable an Exynos
SoC that does not require MCPM, but then manually enable
MCPM anyway without also turning on the arm-cci:

Change it back to only build the code we actually need, by

By default for ARMv7 Exynos platform we select all flavors. One kernel
image simplifies testing and maintenance. However Exynos3 was not
selected by default so far (thus it was not present in multi_v7
kernel).

Support for Exynos5420/5422/5800 SoCs requires MCPM to properly boot all
CPU cores on all currectly supported platforms: Peach Pit (Exynos5420),
Odroid XU3/XU3lite/XU4/HC1 (Exynos5422) and Peach Pi (Exynos5800).
Without it some CPU cores fail to come online. Remove then the ability to
disable MCPM and make it mandatory when Exynos542x/5800 support is
enabled.

PCI_DOMAINS config should be selected for any SoCs
having more than a single PCIe controller. Without PCI_DOMAINS
config, only one PCIe controller gets registered.
Select PCI_DOMAINS in ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM if PCI is selected, since
it doesn't harm even if a platform has a single PCIe port.
Also remove PCI_DOMAINS being selected from other platform
specific configs.

- "select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB" as this can
now be selected directly.
- "select ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB" with no dependency: GPIOLIB
is now selectable by everyone, so we need not declare our
intent to select it.
When ordering the symbols the following rationale was used:
if the selects were in alphabetical order, I moved select GPIOLIB
to be in alphabetical order, but if the selects were not
maintained in alphabetical order, I just replaced
"select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB".

The samsung-keypad driver is implicitly selected by ARCH_EXYNOS4 (why?),
but this fails if CONFIG_INPUT is a loadable module:

This removes the 'select' as suggested by Krzysztof Kozlowski and
instead enables the driver from the defconfig files.
The problem does not happen on mainline kernels, as we don't normally
build built-in input drivers when CONFIG_INPUT=m, but I am experimenting
with a patch to change this, and the samsung keypad driver showed up
as one example that was silently broken before.

Implement handling properties in subnodes and adding child devices to the
system. Child devices will not be added if configuration fails.
Since the driver now does more than suspend-resume support, dependency on
CONFIG_PM is removed.

of saving register banks during S2R so we can safely remove these

This patch moves Exynos PMU driver implementation from "arm/mach-exynos"
to "drivers/soc/samsung". This driver is mainly used for setting misc
bits of register from PMU IP of Exynos SoC which will be required to
configure before Suspend/Resume. Currently all these settings are done
in "arch/arm/mach-exynos/pmu.c" but moving ahead for ARM64 based SoC
support, there is a need of this PMU driver in driver/* folder.
This driver uses existing DT binding information and there should
be no functionality change in the supported platforms.

We cannot select a symbol that has disabled dependencies, so
we get a warning if we ever enable EXYNOS_THERMAL without
also turning on THERMAL_OF:
warning: (ARCH_EXYNOS) selects EXYNOS_THERMAL which has unmet direct dependencies (THERMAL && (ARCH_EXYNOS || COMPILE_TEST) && THERMAL_OF)
This adds another 'select' in the platform code to avoid that
case. Alternatively, we could decide to not select EXYNOS_THERMAL
here and instead make it a user option.

Let the platform's Kconfig to select the clock instead of having a reverse
dependency from the driver to the platform options.
Add the COMPILE_TEST option for the compilation test coverage. Due to the
non portable 'delay' code, this driver is only compilable on ARM.

Many ARM sub-architectures use prompts followed by "if" conditional,
but it is wrong.
Please notice the difference between
config ARCH_FOO
bool "Foo SoCs" if ARCH_MULTI_V7
and
config ARCH_FOO
bool "Foo SoCs"
depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7
These two are *not* equivalent!
In the former statement, it is not ARCH_FOO, but its prompt that
depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7. So, it is completely valid that ARCH_FOO
is selected by another, but ARCH_MULTI_V7 is still disabled. As it is
not unmet dependency, Kconfig never warns. This is probably not what
you want.
The former should be used only when you need to do so, and you really
understand what you are doing. (In most cases, it should be wrong!)
For enabling/disabling sub-architectures, the latter is always correct.
As a good side effect, this commit fixes some entries over 80 columns
(mach-imx, mach-integrator, mach-mbevu).

Since we switch to use generic syscon regmap based reset/poweroff
driver for exynos SoC, lets select it from ARCH_EXYNOS instead of
enabling it from various defconfigs. This also select POWER_RESET
as SYSCON-{reset, poweroff} drivers depends on it.
Also because of the above changes we don't need special handling
for reboot/poweroff in exynos pmu driver. This patch also removes
the same from exynos pmu driver to keep git bisect working.
Note: This will break reboot/poweroff on boards with older dtbs
with a newer kernel.

This is a collection of a few late fixes and other misc. stuff that
had dependencies on things being merged from other trees.
The bulk of the changes are for samsung/exynos SoCs for some changes
that needed a few minor reworks so ended up a bit late. The others
are mainly for qcom SoCs: a couple fixes and some DTS updates.
There's one conflict with drivers/cpufreq/exynos-cpufreq.c because

The new CPU clock type allows the use of generic CPUfreq driver.
Switch Exynos4x12 to using generic cpufreq driver.
Previously (when exynos-cpufreq driver was used with boost
functionality) ARM_EXYNOS_CPU_FREQ_BOOST_SW config option
(which enabled boost functionality) selected EXYNOS_THERMAL
one. After switching Exynos4x12 platforms to use cpufreq-dt
driver boost support is enabled in the cpufreq-dt driver
itself (because there are turbo OPPs defined in the board's
DTS file). However we still would like to allow enabling
boost support only if thermal support is also enabled for
Exynos platforms. To achieve this make ARCH_EXYNOS config
option select THERMAL and EXYNOS_THERMAL ones.
Please also note that the switch to use the generic cpufreq-dt
driver fixes the minor issue present with the old code (support
for 'boost' mode in the exynos-cpufreq driver was enabled for
all supported SoCs even though 'boost' frequency was provided
only for Exynos4x12 ones).

This patch separates the PMU driver code from the low level
CCI driver code and enables the PMU driver for ARM64.
Introduces config options for both.
ARM_CCI400_PORT_CTRL - controls the low level driver code for
CCI400 ports.
ARM_CCI400_PMU - controls the PMU driver code
ARM_CCI400_COMMON - Common defintions for CCI400
This patch also changes:
ARM_CCI - common code for probing the CCI devices. This can be
used for adding support for newer CCI versions(e.g, CCI-500).

After commit b2b49ccbdd (PM: Kconfig: Set PM_RUNTIME if PM_SLEEP is
selected) PM_RUNTIME is always set if PM is set, so Kconfig options

CONFIG_PM.
Replace PM_RUNTIME with PM in Kconfig dependencies throughout the
tree.
