47f0bd5032 net: Add new protocol attribute to IP addresses
This patch adds a new protocol attribute to IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Inspiration was taken from the protocol attribute of routes. User space
applications like iproute2 can set/get the protocol with the Netlink API.

The attribute is stored as an 8-bit unsigned integer.

The protocol attribute is set by kernel for these categories:

- IPv4 and IPv6 loopback addresses
- IPv6 addresses generated from router announcements
- IPv6 link local addresses

User space may pass custom protocols, not defined by the kernel.

Grouping addresses on their origin is useful in scenarios where you want
to distinguish between addresses based on who added them, e.g. kernel
vs. user space.

Tagging addresses with a string label is an existing feature that could be
used as a solution. Unfortunately the max length of a label is
15 characters, and for compatibility reasons the label must be prefixed
with the name of the device followed by a colon. Since device names also
have a max length of 15 characters, only -1 characters is guaranteed to be
available for any origin tag, which is not that much.

A reference implementation of user space setting and getting protocols
is available for iproute2:

9f3c057c14 if_addr: add IFA_TARGET_NETNSID
This adds a new IFA_TARGET_NETNSID property to be used by address
families such as PF_INET and PF_INET6.
The IFA_TARGET_NETNSID property can be used to send a network namespace
identifier as part of a request. If a IFA_TARGET_NETNSID property is
identified it will be used to retrieve the target network namespace in
which the request is to be made.

620dee9415 net: Add IFA_RT_PRIORITY address attribute
Currently, if two interfaces have addresses in the same connected route,
then the order of the prefix route entries is determined by the order in
which the addresses are assigned or the links brought up.

Add IFA_RT_PRIORITY to allow user to specify the metric of the prefix
route associated with an address giving interface managers better
control of the order of prefix routes.

6f52b16c5b License cleanup: add SPDX license identifier to uapi header files with no license
Many user space API headers are missing licensing information, which
makes it hard for compliance tools to determine the correct license.

By default are files without license information under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPLV2. Marking them GPLV2 would exclude
them from being included in non GPLV2 code, which is obviously not
intended. The user space API headers fall under the syscall exception
which is in the kernels COPYING file:

NOTE! This copyright does *not* cover user programs that use kernel
services by normal system calls - this is merely considered normal use
of the kernel, and does *not* fall under the heading of "derived work".

otherwise syscall usage would not be possible.

Update the files which contain no license information with an SPDX
license identifier. The chosen identifier is 'GPL-2.0 WITH
Linux-syscall-note' which is the officially assigned identifier for the
Linux syscall exception. SPDX license identifiers are a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.

This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne. See the previous patch in this series for the
methodology of how this patch was researched.

93a714d6b5 multicast: Extend ip address command to enable multicast group join/leave on
Joining multicast group on ethernet level via "ip maddr" command would
not work if we have an Ethernet switch that does igmp snooping since
the switch would not replicate multicast packets on ports that did not
have IGMP reports for the multicast addresses.

Linux vxlan interfaces created via "ip link add vxlan" have the group option
that enables then to do the required join.

By extending ip address command with option "autojoin" we can get similar
functionality for openvswitch vxlan interfaces as well as other tunneling
mechanisms that need to receive multicast traffic. The kernel code is
structured similar to how the vxlan driver does a group join / leave.

example:
ip address add 224.1.1.10/24 dev eth5 autojoin
ip address del 224.1.1.10/24 dev eth5

761aac737e ipv6 addrconf: add IFA_F_NOPREFIXROUTE flag to suppress creation of IP6 routes
When adding/modifying an IPv6 address, the userspace application needs
a way to suppress adding a prefix route. This is for example relevant
together with IFA_F_MANAGERTEMPADDR, where userspace creates autoconf
generated addresses, but depending on on-link, no route for the
prefix should be added.

53bd674915 ipv6 addrconf: introduce IFA_F_MANAGETEMPADDR to tell kernel to manage temporary addresses
Creating an address with this flag set will result in kernel taking care
of temporary addresses in the same way as if the address was created by
kernel itself (after RA receive). This allows userspace applications
implementing the autoconfiguration (NetworkManager for example) to
implement ipv6 addresses privacy.
