According to the ACPI spec, _CID returns a package containing
hardware ID's. Each element of an ASL package contains a reference
count from the parent package as well as the element itself.

A memory leak was caused in the _CID repair function because it did
not decrement the reference count created by the package. Fix the
memory leak by calling acpi_ut_remove_reference on _CID package elements
that represent a hardware ID (_HID).

The 'exisitng buffer' in this case is the firmware provided table, and
we should not modify that in place. This fixes a crash on arm64 with
initrd table overrides, in which case the DSDT is not mapped with
read/write permissions.

There was a memory leak that ocurred when a _CID object is defined as
a package containing string objects. When _CID is checked for any
possible repairs, it calls a helper function to repair _HID (because
_CID basically contains multiple _HID entries).
The _HID repair function assumes that string objects are standalone
objects that are not contained inside of any packages. The _HID
repair function replaces the string object with a brand new object
and attempts to delete the old object by decrementing the reference
count of the old object. Strings inside of packages have a reference
count of 2 so the _HID repair function leaves this object in a
dangling state and causes a memory leak.
Instead of allocating a brand new object and removing the old object,
use the existing object when repairing the _HID object.

This change fixes two instances where the repair code made an incorrect
assumption about how reference counts are assigned to package objects.
Resolves issues where a warning was issued about a "large reference
count" -- which usually indicates an attempt to delete an object
that has previously been poisoned and released into the object cache.

This patch removes unwanted spaces for typedef. This solution doesn't cover
function types.
Note that the linuxize result of this commit is very giant and should have
many conflicts against the current Linux upstream. Thus it is required to
modify the linuxize result of this commit and the commits around it
manually in order to have them merged to the Linux upstream. Since this is
very costy, we should do this only once, and if we can't ensure to do this
only once, we need to revert the Linux code to the wrong indentation result
before merging the linuxize result of this commit. Lv Zheng.

The patch reduces source code differences between the Linux kernel and the
ACPICA upstream so that the linuxized ACPICA 20151218 release can be
applied with reduced human intervention.
The pscode.c has already been out of sync for months, and it becomes more
and more difficult to merge pscode.c changes, so instead of update the
affected lines of pscode.c, this patch synchronizes entire pscode.c file.

It is reported by kernel build test systems that all ACPICA source
files in the kernel tree have incorrect label indentation. This
patch changes default indent option used in the release process to

1. Sort the list ascending by C state type.

This is a cosmetic patch only. Comparison of the resulting binary showed
only line number differences.
This patch does not affect the generation of the Linux binary.
This patch decreases 210 lines of 20121018 divergence.diff.
The ACPICA source codes uses a totally different indentation style from the
Linux to be compatible with other users (operating systems or BIOS).
Indentation differences are critical to the release automation. There are
two causes related to the "indentation" that are affecting the release
automation:
1. The ACPICA -> Linux release process is:
ACPICA source -- acpisrc - hierarchy - indent ->
linuxized ACPICA source -- diff ->
linuxized ACPICA patch (x) -- human intervention ->
linuxized ACPICA patch (o)
Where
'x' means "cannot be directly applied to the Linux"
'o' means "can be directly applied to the Linux"
Different "indent" version or "indent" options used in the "indent"
step will lead to different divergences.
The version of "indent" used for the current release process is:
GNU indent 2.2.11
The options of "indent" used for the current release process is:
-npro -kr -i8 -ts8 -sob -l80 -ss -ncs
2. Manual indentation prettifying work in the Linux side will also harm the
automatically generated linuxized ACPICA patches, making them impossible
to apply directly.
This patch fixes source code differences caused by the two causes so that
the "human intervention" can be reduced in the future.

We can only sort the _TSS return package if there is no _PSS
in the same scope. This is because if _PSS is present, the ACPI
specification dictates that the _TSS Power Dissipation field is
to be ignored, and therefore some BIOSs leave garbage values in
the _TSS Power field(s). In this case, it is best to just return
the _TSS package as-is.

For the predefined methods that return fixed-length packages
(or subpackages), attempt repair for a NULL element. Create an
Integer of value 0, a NULL String, or a zero-length buffer as
appropriate.

This change will automatically remove embedded and trailing NULL
package elements from returned package objects that are defined
to containe a variable number of sub-packages. The driver is then
presented with a package with no null elements to deal with.

Repair mechanism was considered too wordy. Now, messages are only
unconditionally emitted if the return object cannot be repaired.
Existing messages for successful repairs were converted to
ACPI_DEBUG_PRINT messages for now. ACPICA BZ 827.
