59615b5f9d mac80211: fix allocation in mesh_queue_preq
We allocate a PREQ queue node in mesh_queue_preq, however the allocation
may cause us to sleep. Use GFP_ATOMIC to prevent this.

5bb644a0fd mac80211: cancel/restart all timers across suspend/resume
We forgot to cancel all timers in mac80211 when suspending.
In particular we forgot to deal with some things that can
cause hardware reconfiguration -- while it is down.

While at it we go ahead and add a warning in ieee80211_sta_work()
if its run while the suspend->resume cycle is in effect. This
should not happen and if it does it would indicate there is
a bug lurking in either mac80211 or mac80211 drivers.

With this now wpa_supplicant doesn't blink when I go to suspend
and resume where as before there where issues with some timers
running during the suspend->resume cycle. This caused a lot of
incorrect assumptions and would at times bring back the device
in an incoherent, but mostly recoverable, state.

e6a9854b05 mac80211/drivers: rewrite the rate control API
So after the previous changes we were still unhappy with how
convoluted the API is and decided to make things simpler for
everybody. This completely changes the rate control API, now
taking into account 802.11n with MCS rates and more control,
most drivers don't support that though.

ae17e98609 mac80211: move txrate_idx into RC algorithms
The sta_info->txrate_idx member isn't used by all RC algorithms
in the way it was intended to be used, move it into those that
require it (only PID) and keep track in the core code of which
rate was last used for reporting to userspace and the mesh MLME.

17741cdc26 mac80211: share STA information with driver
This patch changes mac80211 to share some more data about
stations with drivers. Should help iwlwifi and ath9k when
they get around to updating, and might also help with
implementing rate control algorithms without internals.

472dbc45dc mac80211: split off mesh handling entirely
This patch splits off mesh handling from the STA/IBSS.
Unfortunately it increases mesh code size a bit, but I
think it makes things clearer. The patch also reduces
per-interface run-time memory usage.

Also clean up a few places where ifdef is not required.

9c80d3dc27 mac80211: fix action frame length checks
The action frame length checks are one too small, there's not just
an action code as the comment makes you believe, there's a category
code too, and the category code is required in each action frame
(hence part of IEEE80211_MIN_ACTION_SIZE).

f698d856f6 replace net_device arguments with ieee80211_{local,sub_if_data} as appropriate
This patch replaces net_device arguments to mac80211 internal functions
with ieee80211_{local,sub_if_data} as appropriate.

It also does the same for many 802.11s mesh functions, and changes the
mesh path table to be indexed on sub_if_data rather than net_device.

If the mesh part needs to be a separate patch let me know, but since
mesh uses a lot of mac80211 functions which were being converted anyway,
the changes go hand-in-hand somewhat.

This patch probably does not convert all the functions which could be
converted, but it is a large chunk and followup patches will be
provided.

e32f85f7b9 mac80211: fix use of skb->cb for mesh forwarding
Now we deal with mesh forwarding before the 802.11->802.3 conversion, thus
eliminating a few unnecessary steps. The next hop lookup is called from
ieee80211_master_start_xmit() instead of subif_start_xmit(). Until the next hop
is found, RA in the frame will be all zeroes for frames originating from the
device. For forwarded frames, RA will contain the TA of the received frame,
which will be necessary to send a path error if a next hop is not found.

d0709a6518 mac80211: RCU-ify STA info structure access
This makes access to the STA hash table/list use RCU to protect
against freeing of items. However, it's not a true RCU, the
copy step is missing: whenever somebody changes a STA item it
is simply updated. This is an existing race condition that is
now somewhat understandable.

This patch also fixes the race key freeing vs. STA destruction
by making sure that sta_info_destroy() is always called under
RTNL and frees the key.

050ac52cbe mac80211: code for on-demand Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol
This file implements the on-demand Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol, at this moment
using hop-count as the metric. When no mesh path exists for a given destination
or the mesh path is not active, frames addressed to that destination will be
queued and a Path Request frame will be sent. Queued frames will be sent when
the path is resolved (usually after reception of a Path Response) or discarded
if discovery times out. Path Requests will also be sent to refresh paths that
are being used and are close to expiring.

Path Errors are sent when a path discovery process triggered by the attempt to
forward a frame originated in a different mesh point times out. Path Errors are
also sent when a peer link is determined to be unreachable because of high error
rates.

Multiple destination support in Path Requests and Path Errors and precursors
have not been implemented yet.
