apparmor: handle idmapped mounts
The i_uid and i_gid are mostly used when logging for AppArmor. This is
broken in a bunch of places where the global root id is reported instead
of the i_uid or i_gid of the file. Nonetheless, be kind and log the
mapped inode if we're coming from an idmapped mount. If the initial user
namespace is passed nothing changes so non-idmapped mounts will see
identical behavior as before.

Richard Guy Briggs f1d9b23cab audit: purge audit_log_string from the intra-kernel audit API
audit_log_string() was inteded to be an internal audit function and
since there are only two internal uses, remove them.  Purge all external
uses of it by restructuring code to use an existing audit_log_format()
or using audit_log_format().

John Johansen 20d4e80d25 apparmor: only get a label reference if the fast path check fails
The common fast path check can be done under rcu_read_lock() and
doesn't need a reference count on the label. Only take a reference
count if entering the slow path.

John Johansen 341c1fda5e apparmor: make it so work buffers can be allocated from atomic context
In some situations AppArmor needs to be able to use its work buffers
from atomic context. Add the ability to specify when in atomic context
and hold a set of work buffers in reserve for atomic context to
reduce the chance that a large work buffer allocation will need to
be done.

Sebastian Andrzej Siewior 8ac2ca328e apparmor: Switch to GFP_KERNEL where possible
After removing preempt_disable() from get_buffers() it is possible to
replace a few GFP_ATOMIC allocations with GFP_KERNEL.

Replace GFP_ATOMIC allocations with GFP_KERNEL where the context looks
to bee preepmtible.

Sebastian Andrzej Siewior df323337e5 apparmor: Use a memory pool instead per-CPU caches
The get_buffers() macro may provide one or two buffers to the caller.
Those buffers are pre-allocated on init for each CPU. By default it
allocates
	2* 2 * MAX_PATH * POSSIBLE_CPU

which equals 64KiB on a system with 4 CPUs or 1MiB with 64 CPUs and so
on.

Replace the per-CPU buffers with a common memory pool which is shared
across all CPUs. The pool grows on demand and never shrinks. The pool
starts with two (UP) or four (SMP) elements. By using this pool it is
possible to request a buffer and keeping preemption enabled which avoids
the hack in profile_transition().

It has been pointed out by Tetsuo Handa that GFP_KERNEL allocations for
small amount of memory do not fail. In order not to have an endless
retry, __GFP_RETRY_MAYFAIL is passed (so the memory allocation is not
repeated until success) and retried once hoping that in the meantime a
buffer has been returned to the pool. Since now NULL is possible all
allocation paths check the buffer pointer and return -ENOMEM on failure.

Lance Roy 0fb871cc42 apparmor: Replace spin_is_locked() with lockdep
lockdep_assert_held() is better suited to checking locking requirements,
since it won't get confused when someone else holds the lock. This is
also a step towards possibly removing spin_is_locked().

Returning or assigning partially initialized structures is a bit tricky,
in particular it is explicitly allowed in c99 to assign a partially
initialized structure to another, as long as only members are read that
have been initialized earlier. Looking at what various compilers do here,
the version that produced the warning copied uninitialized stack data,
while newer versions (and also clang) either set the other members to
zero or don't update the parts of the return buffer that are not modified
in the temporary structure, but they never warn about this.

In case of apparmor, it seems better to be a little safer and always
initialize the aa_perms structure. Most users already do that, this
changes the remaining ones, including the one instance that I got the
warning for.

Linus Torvalds 80c094a47d Revert "apparmor: add base infastructure for socket mediation"
This reverts commit 651e28c553.

This caused a regression:
 "The specific problem is that dnsmasq refuses to start on openSUSE Leap
  42.2.  The specific cause is that and attempt to open a PF_LOCAL socket
  gets EACCES.  This means that networking doesn't function on a system
  with a 4.14-rc2 system."

Sadly, the developers involved seemed to be in denial for several weeks
about this, delaying the revert.  This has not been a good release for
the security subsystem, and this area needs to change development
practices.

Instead of running file revalidation lazily when read/write are called
copy selinux and revalidate the file table on exec. This avoids
extra mediation overhead in read/write and also prevents file handles
being passed through to a grand child unchecked.

John Johansen ef88a7ac55 apparmor: change aad apparmor_audit_data macro to a fn macro
The aad macro can replace aad strings when it is not intended to. Switch
to a fn macro so it is only applied when intended.

Also at the same time cleanup audit_data initialization by putting
common boiler plate behind a macro, and dropping the gfp_t parameter
which will become useless.

John Johansen 47f6e5cc73 apparmor: change op from int to const char *
Having ops be an integer that is an index into an op name table is
awkward and brittle. Every op change requires an edit for both the
op constant and a string in the table. Instead switch to using const
strings directly, eliminating the need for the table that needs to
be kept in sync.

Eric Paris 3b3b0e4fc1 LSM: shrink sizeof LSM specific portion of common_audit_data
Linus found that the gigantic size of the common audit data caused a big
perf hit on something as simple as running stat() in a loop.  This patch
requires LSMs to declare the LSM specific portion separately rather than
doing it in a union.  Thus each LSM can be responsible for shrinking their
portion and don't have to pay a penalty just because other LSMs have a
bigger space requirement.

John Johansen 0421ea91dd apparmor: Fix change_onexec when called from a confined task
Fix failure in aa_change_onexec api when the request is made from a confined
task.  This failure was caused by two problems

 The AA_MAY_ONEXEC perm was not being mapped correctly for this case.

 The executable name was being checked as second time instead of using the
 requested onexec profile name, which may not be the same as the exec
 profile name. This mistake can not be exploited to grant extra permission
 because of the above flaw where the ONEXEC permission was not being mapped
 so it will not be granted.

John Johansen 57fa1e1809 AppArmor: Move path failure information into aa_get_name and rename
Move the path name lookup failure messages into the main path name lookup
routine, as the information is useful in more than just aa_path_perm.

Also rename aa_get_name to aa_path_name as it is not getting a reference
counted object with a corresponding put fn.

John Johansen 38305a4bab AppArmor: fix mapping of META_READ to audit and quiet flags
The mapping of AA_MAY_META_READ for the allow mask was also being mapped
to the audit and quiet masks. This would result in some operations being
audited when the should not.

This flaw was hidden by the previous audit bug which would drop some
messages that where supposed to be audited.

John Johansen 6380bd8ddf AppArmor: file enforcement routines
AppArmor does files enforcement via pathname matching.  Matching is done
at file open using a dfa match engine.  Permission is against the final
file object not parent directories, ie. the traversal of directories
as part of the file match is implicitly allowed.  In the case of nonexistant
files (creation) permissions are checked against the target file not the
directory.  eg. In case of creating the file /dir/new, permissions are
checked against the match /dir/new not against /dir/.

The permissions for matches are currently stored in the dfa accept table,
but this will change to allow for dfa reuse and also to allow for sharing
of wider accept states.
