A typo causes routine rtl92cu_phy_rf6052_set_cck_txpower() to test the
same condition twice. The problem was found using cppcheck-1.49, and the
proper fix was verified against the pre-mac80211 version of the code.
This patch was originally included as commit 1288aa4, but was accidentally
reverted in a later patch.

vxlan: only migrate dynamic FDB entries
was not correct because it is checking flag about type of FDB
entry, rather than the state (dynamic versus static). The confusion
arises because vxlan is reusing values from bridge, and bridge is
reusing values from neighbour table, and easy to get lost in translation.

In case of error, the function devm_ioremap_resource() returns ERR_PTR()
and never returns NULL. The NULL test in the return value check should
be replaced with IS_ERR().

The usb_8dev hardware has problems on some xhci USB hosts. The driver fails to
read the firmware revision in the probe function. This leads to the following
Oops:
[ 3356.635912] kernel BUG at net/core/dev.c:5701!
The driver tries to free the netdev, which has already been registered, without
unregistering it.
This patch fixes the problem by unregistering the netdev in the error path.

converted skb->end from pointer type to sk_buff_data_t.
The pointed value should be accessed via skb_end_pointer().
Since arm arch doesn't define NET_SKBUFF_DATA_USES_OFFSET,
skb->end is effectively pointer. So it doesn't cause a real problem.
But this patch is good for consistency.

alb_set_slave_mac_addr() sets the mac address in alb mode via
dev_set_mac_address(), which might sleep. It's called from
alb_handle_addr_collision_on_attach() in atomic context (under
read_lock(bond->lock)), thus triggering a bug.
Fix this by moving the lock inside alb_handle_addr_collision_on_attach().

caused by a bad return value in an earlier patch. He also sends a
brcmfmac fix to avoid an oops when loading the driver at boot.
Daniel Drake fixes a race condition in btmrvl that causes hangs on
suspend for OLPC hardware.
Johan Hedberg adds a check to avoid sending a
HCI_Delete_Stored_Link_Key command to devices that don't support them,
avoiding some scary looking log spam.
Stanislaw Gruszka gives us a fix for iwlegacy to be able to use rates
higher than 1Mb/s on older wireless networks. He also sends an rt2x00
fix to reinstate older tx power handling behavior for some devices
that didn't work well with the current code.

This is a very simple driver, based on the original vendor
driver that Qualcomm/Atheros published/submitted previously,
but reworked to make the code saner. However, it also lost
a number of features (TSO/GSO, VLAN acceleration and multi-
queue support) in the process, as well as debugging support
features I didn't have any use for. The only thing I left
is checksum offload.
More features can obviously be added, but this seemed like
a good start for having a driver in mainline at all.
Johannes Stezenbach has verified that the driver works on
AR8161, I have a AR8171 myself. The E2200 device ID I found
on github in somebody's repository.

The current tg3 code assumes the pci_error_handlers to be always called
in sequence. In particular, during ->error_detected(), NAPI is disabled
and the device is shutdown. The device is later reset and NAPI
re-enabled in ->slot_reset() and ->resume().
In EEH, if more than 6 errors are detected in a hour, only
->error_detected() will be called. This will leave the driver in an
inconsistent state as NAPI is disabled but netif_running state is still
true. When the device is later closed, we'll try to disable NAPI again
and it will loop forever.
We fix this by closing the device if we encounter any error conditions
during the normal sequence of the pci_error_handlers.

Only migrate dynamic forwarding table entries, don't modify
static entries. If packet received from incorrect source IP address
assume it is an imposter and drop it.
This patch applies only to -net, a different patch would be needed for earlier
kernels since the NTF_SELF flag was introduced with 3.10.

The commit "ath9k: Fix ANI monitoring" reverted an earlier
commit that adjusted ANI to improve performance. But, this causes
adverse effects in AP mode (as reported by Felix based on an OpenWrt
report). Use the older INI/period configuration for now until more
testing is done.

When trying to unset a previously-set multicast list (i.e. the new list
has 0 entries), mwifiex_set_multicast_list() was calling down to
mwifiex_request_set_multicast_list() while leaving
mcast_list.num_multicast_addr as an uninitialized value.
We were arriving at mwifiex_cmd_mac_multicast_adr() which would then
proceed to do an often huge memcpy of
mcast_list.num_multicast_addr*ETH_ALEN bytes, causing memory corruption
and hard to debug crashes.
Fix this by setting mcast_list.num_multicast_addr to 0 when no multicast
list is provided. Similarly, fix up the logic in
mwifiex_request_set_multicast_list() to unset the multicast list that
was previously sent to the hardware in such cases.

Allow a regulatory domain country code to be specified at boot

The fw_status wasn't zeroed during allocation, resulting
in uninitialized var usage, and finally causing AP
traffic stop after recovery.
The wrong value in fw_status_2->counters.tx_lnk_free_pkts
led to a bad lnk->allocated_pkts calculation in
wlcore_fw_status(), causing wl18xx_lnk_low_prio() to return
FALSE (lnk->allocated_pkts > thold).
This eventually blocked the link in wlcore_tx_work_locked(),
as wl1271_skb_dequeue() continuously returned NULL.
Fix it by zeroing wl->fw_status_1/2 during allocation.

In some R&D chips, the device may be left untrimmed and with the MAC
address missing from fuse ROM. In order to support those devices,
apply a random locally administered MAC address instead.

The current code configures the peer caps only on BSS_CHANGED_HT
notification. However, we have to configure the peer caps
(and rates) even when HT is not enabled. Otherwise, the fw
continues working with low rates.
Configure the peer caps when sta_exists is true (i.e. when
we extracted the sta rates, e.g. on association).

In PG2.0 there is an issue where PHY's FDSP Code RAM sometimes gets
corrupted when exiting from ELP mode. This issue is related to FDSP
Code RAM clock implementation.
PG2.1 introduces a HW fix for this issue that requires the driver to
change the FDSP Code Ram clock settings (mux it to ATGP clock instead
of its own clock).
This workaround uses PHY_FPGA_SPARE_1 register and is relevant to WL8
PG2.1 devices.
The fix is also backward compatible with older PG2.0 devices where the
register PHY_FPGA_SPARE_1 is not used and not connected.
The fix is done in the wl18xx_pre_upload function (must be performed
before uploading the FW code) and includes the following steps:
1. Disable FDSP clock
2. Set ATPG clock toward FDSP Code RAM rather than its own clock.
3. Re-enable FDSP clock

If "device is disconnected" check occurs to be true in ezusb_access_ltv(),
it just return -ENODEV. But that means request_context is leaked since
there are no any references to it anymore.
The patch adds a call to ezusb_request_context_put() before return.

between the base reference design HB125 and CUS198.

This patch adds support for the Broadcom BCM6345 SoC Ethernet. BCM6345
has a slightly different and older DMA engine which requires the
following modifications:
- the width of the DMA channels on BCM6345 is 64 bytes vs 16 bytes,
which means that the helpers enet_dma{c,s} need to account for this
channel width and we can no longer use macros
- BCM6345 DMA engine does not have any internal SRAM for transfering
buffers
- BCM6345 buffer allocation and flow control is not per-channel but
global (done in RSET_ENETDMA)
- the DMA engine bits are right-shifted by 3 compared to other DMA
generations
- the DMA enable/interrupt masks are a little different (we need to
enabled more bits for 6345)
- some register have the same meaning but are offsetted in the ENET_DMAC
space so a lookup table is required to return the proper offset
The MAC itself is identical and requires no modifications to work.

Tulip throws an error when dma debugging is enabled, as it doesn't properly
check dma mapping results with dma_mapping_error() durring tx ring refills.

With the new rate control API, the driver can now apply the
tx rate to outgoing frames just before they are uploaded to
the device. This is important because the rate control can
now react to fading or improving links a bit sooner.
Also, the driver no longer needs to sort the outgoing frames
for sample attempts (which affected the size of A-MPDUs and
the throughput of the link). For aggregated data frames, the
driver (and rate control) needs only to calculate and apply
a single set of tx rates to every subframe of the whole
aggregate.

When initialization within brcmf_bus_start() fails on steps
before the brcmf_net_attach() the net_device for the primary
interface needs to be freed.
This patch resolves a panic during kernel boot as reported
by Stephen Warren.

When the queue is unmapped while it was so loaded that
mac80211's was stopped, we need to wake the queue after
having freed all the packets in the queue.
Not doing so can result in weird stuff like:
* run lots of traffic (mac80211's queue gets stopped)
* RFKILL
* de-assert RFKILL
* no traffic

When a queue is disabled, it frees all its entries. Later,
the op_mode might still get notifications from the firmware
that triggers to free entries in the tx queue. The transport
should be prepared for these races and know to ignore
reclaim calls on queues that have been disabled and whose
entries have been freed.

The older devices (pre-7000/3000 series) all only work with the
DVM opmode due to firmware availability, while newer ones will
only work with the MVM opmode for the same reason.
When building a driver that only has one of MVM or DVM, there's
no reason to build the device support and have the PCIe IDs for
all devices since they can't be used anyway, so avoid that.

Instead of using #ifdef CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG, remove the
iwlwifi_mod_params.debug_level variable completely and
make iwl_have_debug_level() always return false in the
non-debug case. This way, the optimiser will elide all
code for it automatically without having to add #ifdefs.

There's no reason to read the INTA register in the ICT IRQ
handler, this interrupt mechanism is designed to not have
to read as many registers as the regular one. Not reading
the INTA register gives a significant performance/CPU use
improvement.
Since we still want to get this info, fetch it only if
the ISR debug level is enabled.

Some systems that don't need wake-on-lan may choose to power down the
chip on system standby. Upon resume, the power on causes the boot code
to startup and initialize the hardware. On one new platform, this is
causing the device to go into a bad state due to a race between the
driver and boot code, once every several hundred resumes. The same race
exists on open since we come up from a power on.
This patch adds a wait for boot code signature at the beginning of
tg3_init_hw() which is common to both cases. If there has not been a
power-off or the boot code has already completed, the signature will be
present and poll_fw() returns immediately. Also return immediately if
the device does not have firmware.

First the type of igmp_retrans (which is the actual counter of
igmp_resend parameter) is changed to u8 to be able to store values up
to 255 (as per documentation). There are two races that were hidden
there and which are easy to trigger after the previous fix, the first is
between bond_resend_igmp_join_requests and bond_change_active_slave
where igmp_retrans is set and can be altered by the periodic. The second
race condition is between multiple running instances of the periodic
(upon execution it can be scheduled again for immediate execution which
can cause the counter to go < 0 which in the unsigned case leads to
unnecessary igmp retransmissions).
Since in bond_change_active_slave bond->lock is held for reading and
curr_slave_lock for writing, we use curr_slave_lock for mutual
exclusion. We can't drop them as there're cases where RTNL is not held
when bond_change_active_slave is called. RCU is unlocked in
bond_resend_igmp_join_requests before getting curr_slave_lock since we
don't need it there and it's pointless to delay.
The decrement is moved inside the "if" block because if we decrement
unconditionally there's still a possibility for a race condition although
it is much more difficult to hit (many changes have to happen in
a very short period in order to trigger) which in the case of 3 parallel
running instances of this function and igmp_retrans == 1
(with check bond->igmp_retrans-- > 1) is:
f1 passes, doesn't re-schedule, but decrements - igmp_retrans = 0
f2 then passes, doesn't re-schedule, but decrements - igmp_retrans = 255
f3 does the unnecessary retransmissions.

If the bond device is supposed to get the first slave's MAC address and
the first enslavement fails then we need to reset the master's MAC
otherwise it will stay the same as the failed slave device. We do it
after err_undo_flags since that is the first place where the MAC can be
changed and we check if it should've been the first slave and if the
bond's MAC was set to it because that err place is used by multiple
locations prior to changing the master's MAC address.

When putting vif-s on the rx notify list, calling xenvif_put() must be
deferred until after the removal from the list and the issuing of the
notification, as both operations dereference the pointer.
Changing this got me to notice that the "irq" variable was effectively
unused (and was of too narrow type anyway).

net_device::dev_id should not be used merely to indicate a VI index,
as it affects the way the local part of IPv6 addresses is normally
generated.
This field was intended for use where multiple devices may share a
single assigned MAC address and need to have different IPv6 addresses.
T4 VIs each have their own MAC address.

"macvlan: add FDB bridge ops and macvlan flags"
added a way to control NOPROMISC macvlan flag through netlink.
However, with a non passthrough device we never set promisc on open,
even if NOPROMISC is off. As a result:
If userspace clears NOPROMISC on open, then does not clear it on a
netlink command, promisc counter is not decremented on stop and there
will be no way to clear it once macvlan is detached.
If userspace does not clear NOPROMISC on open, then sets NOPROMISC on a
netlink command, promisc counter will be decremented from 0 and overflow
to fffffffff with no way to clear promisc.
To fix, simply ignore NOPROMISC flag in a netlink command for
non-passthrough devices, same as we do at open/close.
Since we touch this code anyway - check dev_set_promiscuity return code
and pass it to users (though an error here is unlikely).

The TUN_PERSIST flag is not reported at all -- both TUNGETIFF, and sysfs
"flags" attribute skip one. Knowing whether a device is persistent or not
is critical for checkpoint-restore, thus I propose to add the read-only
IFF_PERSIST one for this.
Setting this new IFF_PERSIST is hardly possible, as TUNSETIFF doesn't check
for unknown flags being zero and thus there can be trash.

One big highlight is the cw1200 driver the ST-E CW1100 & CW1200
WLAN chipsets. This one has been lingering for a while, lacking
some review comments. Once started getting pulled into linux-next,

but I think it is looking alright at this point.
Along with that, there is the usual flurry of updates to the mac80211

removes 'const' from 'sh_eth_netdev_ops' and modifies it in case TSU registers
are present. I've originally suggested to Iwamatsu-san to split this structure
in two instead and afterwards Dave M. suggested doing the same.
Split 'sh_eth_netdev_ops_tsu' from 'sh_eth_netdev_ops', making both 'const', and
assigning 'ndev->detdev_ops' depending on the presence of TSU registers.
