02d6276f10 media: solo6x10: mark unused functions as such
There are several unused helper macros there, meant to parse some
fields. As those actually help to document the hardware, the
better is to keep them.

However, it generates clang warnings with W=1, causing build to
break with CONFIG_WERROR.

So, add __always_unused to fix such warnings.

0c5a71dc6b media: solo6x10: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' API
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

When memory is allocated in 'snd_solo_pcm_open()' (solo6x10-g723.c)
GFP_KERNEL can be used because this flag is already used jew a few lines
above.

When memory is allocated in 'solo_enc_alloc()' (solo6x10-v4l2-enc.c)
GFP_KERNEL can be used because this flag is already used jew a few lines
above.

When memory is allocated in 'solo_enc_v4l2_init()' (solo6x10-v4l2-enc.c)
GFP_KERNEL can be used because calls 'solo_enc_alloc()' which already uses
this flag.

95c520690f media: don't do a 31 bit shift on a signed int
On 32-bits archs, a signed integer has 31 bits plus on extra
bit for signal. Due to that, touching the 32th bit with something
like:

	int bar = 1 << 31;

has an undefined behavior in C on 32 bit architectures, as it
touches the signal bit. This is warned by cppcheck.

Instead, force the numbers to be unsigned, in order to solve this
issue.

cce8ccca80 media: use the BIT() macro
As warned by cppcheck:

[drivers/media/dvb-frontends/cx24123.c:434]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour
[drivers/media/pci/bt8xx/bttv-input.c:87]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour
[drivers/media/pci/bt8xx/bttv-input.c:98]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour
			...
[drivers/media/v4l2-core/v4l2-ioctl.c:1391]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour

There are lots of places where we're doing 1 << 31. That's bad,
as, depending on the architecture, this has an undefined behavior.

The BIT() macro is already prepared to handle this, so, let's
just switch all "1 << number" macros by BIT(number) at the header files
with has 1 << 31.

b61789f53d media: drivers/media: don't set pix->priv = 0

6c542426b6 media: solo6x10: use ktime_get_ts64() for time sync
solo6x10 correctly deals with time stamps and will never
suffer from overflows, but it uses the deprecated 'struct timespec'
type and 'ktime_get_ts()' interface to read the monotonic clock.

This changes it to use ktime_get_ts64() instead, so we can
eventually remove ktime_get_ts().

d3202d1981 media: solo6x10: export hardware GPIO pins 8:31 to gpiolib interface
24 GPIO pins from 32 available on solo6x10 chips are exported

sensor states when GPIO extension cards are attached to Softlogic solo6x10

5fc4b067ec [media] media: solo6x10: fix lockup by avoiding delayed register write
This fixes a lockup at device probing which happens on some solo6010
hardware samples. This is a regression introduced by commit e1ceb25a15
("[media] SOLO6x10: remove unneeded register locking and barriers")

The observed lockup happens in solo_set_motion_threshold() called from
solo_motion_config().

This extra "flushing" is not fundamentally needed for every write, but
apparently the code in driver assumes such behaviour at last in some
places.

Actual fix was proposed by Hans Verkuil.

3d160041dc [media] solo6x10: don't break long lines
Due to the 80-cols restrictions, and latter due to checkpatch
warnings, several strings were broken into multiple lines. This
is not considered a good practice anymore, as it makes harder
to grep for strings at the source code.

As we're right now fixing other drivers due to KERN_CONT, we need
to be able to identify what printk strings don't end with a "\n".
It is a way easier to detect those if we don't break long lines.

So, join those continuation lines.

The patch was generated via the script below, and manually

e34f2a96a4 [media] media: solo6x10: increase FRAME_BUF_SIZE
In practice, devices sometimes return frames larger than current buffer
size, leading to failure in solo_send_desc().
It is not clear which minimal increase in buffer size would be enough,
so this patch doubles it, this should be safely assumed as sufficient.

36c0f8b32c [media] vb2: replace void *alloc_ctxs by struct device *alloc_devs
Make this a proper typed array. Drop the old allocate context code since
that is no longer used.

Note that the memops functions now get a struct device pointer instead of
the struct device ** that was there initially (actually a void pointer to
a struct containing only a struct device pointer).

This code is now a lot cleaner.
