Johan Hovold 96bd0de391 arm64: dts: qcom: sc7180-trogdor: mark bluetooth address as broken
commit e12e28009e upstream.

Several Qualcomm Bluetooth controllers lack persistent storage for the
device address and instead one can be provided by the boot firmware
using the 'local-bd-address' devicetree property.

The Bluetooth bindings clearly states that the address should be
specified in little-endian order, but due to a long-standing bug in the
Qualcomm driver which reversed the address some boot firmware has been
providing the address in big-endian order instead.

The boot firmware in SC7180 Trogdor Chromebooks is known to be affected
so mark the 'local-bd-address' property as broken to maintain backwards
compatibility with older firmware when fixing the underlying driver bug.

Note that ChromeOS always updates the kernel and devicetree in lockstep
so that there is no need to handle backwards compatibility with older
devicetrees.

Oliver Upton 0a6f0f8702 KVM: arm64: Limit stage2_apply_range() batch size to largest block
commit 5994bc9e05 upstream.

Presently stage2_apply_range() works on a batch of memory addressed by a
stage 2 root table entry for the VM. Depending on the IPA limit of the
VM and PAGE_SIZE of the host, this could address a massive range of
memory. Some examples:

  4 level, 4K paging -> 512 GB batch size

  3 level, 64K paging -> 4TB batch size

Unsurprisingly, working on such a large range of memory can lead to soft
lockups. When running dirty_log_perf_test:

Use the largest supported block mapping for the configured page size as

Nícolas F. R. A. Prado e66285df73 arm64: dts: mt8183: Move CrosEC base detection node to kukui-based DTs

The cbas node is used to describe base detection functionality in the
ChromeOS EC, which is used for units that have a detachable keyboard and
thus rely on this functionality to switch between tablet and laptop
mode.

Despite the original commit having added the cbas node to the
mt8183-kukui.dtsi, not all machines that include it are detachables. In
fact all machines that include from mt8183-kukui-jacuzzi.dtsi are either
clamshells (ie normal laptops) or convertibles, meaning the keyboard can
be flipped but not detached. The detection for the keyboard getting
flipped is handled by the driver bound to the keyboard-controller node
in the EC.

Move the base detection node from the base kukui dtsi to the dtsis where
all machines are detachables, and thus actually make use of the node.

Hsin-Yi Wang 657633a0b5 arm64: dts: mt8183: kukui: Split out keyboard node and describe detachables

Kukui devices krane, kodana, and kakadu use detachable keyboards, which
only have switches to be registered.

Change the keyboard node's compatible of those boards to the newly
introduced "google,cros-ec-keyb-switches", which won't include matrix
properties.

Frieder Schrempf 4287534cb5 arm64: dts: imx8mm-kontron: Disable pull resistors for SD card signals on BL board

Some signals have external pullup resistors on the board and don't need
the internal ones to be enabled. Due to silicon errata ERR050080 let's
disable the internal pull resistors whererever possible and prevent
any unwanted behavior in case they wear out.

Frieder Schrempf d01012b6d6 arm64: dts: imx8mm-kontron: Use the VSELECT signal to switch SD card IO voltage

It turns out that it is not necessary to declare the VSELECT signal as
GPIO and let the PMIC driver set it to a fixed high level. This switches
the voltage between 3.3V and 1.8V by setting the PMIC register for LDO5
accordingly.

Instead we can do it like other boards already do and simply mux the
VSELECT signal of the USDHC interface to the pin. This makes sure that
the correct voltage is selected by setting the PMIC's SD_VSEL input
to high or low accordingly.

Frieder Schrempf 41af98f220 arm64: dts: imx8mm-kontron: Add support for ultra high speed modes on SD card

In order to use ultra high speed modes (UHS) on the SD card slot, we
add matching pinctrls and fix the voltage switching for LDO5 of the
PMIC, by providing the SD_VSEL pin as GPIO to the PMIC driver.

Heiko Stuebner 656bd1702f arm64: dts: rockchip: set num-cs property for spi on px30

The px30 has two spi controllers with two chip-selects each.
The num-cs property is specified as the total number of chip
selects a controllers has and is used since 2020 to find uses
of chipselects outside that range in the Rockchip spi driver.

Without the property set, the default is 1, so spi devices
using the second chipselect will not be created.

the (already) enabled i2s0/1/2 and the pin is muxed with GPIO4_C5
which might be in use already.
If enabled SPDIF_TX will be available at pin #15.

Mark Rutland 621619f626 arm64: mm: fix VA-range sanity check

Both create_mapping_noalloc() and update_mapping_prot() sanity-check
their 'virt' parameter, but the check itself doesn't make much sense.
The condition used today appears to be a historical accident.

The sanity-check condition:

	if ((virt >= PAGE_END) && (virt < VMALLOC_START)) {
		[ ... warning here ... ]
		return;
	}

... can only be true for the KASAN shadow region or the module region,
and there's no reason to exclude these specifically for creating and
updateing mappings.

When arm64 support was first upstreamed in commit:

  c1cc155261 ("arm64: MMU initialisation")

... the condition was:

	if (virt < VMALLOC_START) {
		[ ... warning here ... ]
		return;
	}

At the time, VMALLOC_START was the lowest kernel address, and this was
checking whether 'virt' would be translated via TTBR1.

Subsequently in commit:

  14c127c957 ("arm64: mm: Flip kernel VA space")

... the condition was changed to:

	if ((virt >= VA_START) && (virt < VMALLOC_START)) {
		[ ... warning here ... ]
		return;
	}

This appear to have been a thinko. The commit moved the linear map to
the bottom of the kernel address space, with VMALLOC_START being at the
halfway point. The old condition would warn for changes to the linear
map below this, and at the time VA_START was the end of the linear map.

Subsequently we cleaned up the naming of VA_START in commit:

  77ad4ce693 ("arm64: memory: rename VA_START to PAGE_END")

... keeping the erroneous condition as:

	if ((virt >= PAGE_END) && (virt < VMALLOC_START)) {
		[ ... warning here ... ]
		return;
	}

Correct the condition to check against the start of the TTBR1 address
space, which is currently PAGE_OFFSET. This simplifies the logic, and
more clearly matches the "outside kernel range" message in the warning.

filter_irq_stacks() is supposed to cut entries which are related irq entries
from its call stack.
And in_irqentry_text() which is called by filter_irq_stacks()
uses __irqentry_text_start/end symbol to find irq entries in callstack.

But it doesn't work correctly as without "CONFIG_FUNCTION_GRAPH_TRACER",
arm64 kernel doesn't include gic_handle_irq which is entry point of arm64 irq
between __irqentry_text_start and __irqentry_text_end as we discussed in below link.

Mark Rutland b246a9a3c3 drivers/perf: pmuv3: don't expose SW_INCR event in sysfs

The SW_INCR event is somewhat unusual, and depends on the specific HW
counter that it is programmed into. When programmed into PMEVCNTR<n>,
SW_INCR will count any writes to PMSWINC_EL0 with bit n set, ignoring
writes to SW_INCR with bit n clear.

Event rotation means that there's no fixed relationship between
perf_events and HW counters, so this isn't all that useful.

Further, we program PMUSERENR.{SW,EN}=={0,0}, which causes EL0 writes to
PMSWINC_EL0 to be trapped and handled as UNDEFINED, resulting in a
SIGILL to userspace.

Given that, it's not a good idea to expose SW_INCR in sysfs. Hide it as
we did for CHAIN back in commit:

Huang Shijie 17093c32f6 arm64: irq: set the correct node for VMAP stack

In current code, init_irq_stacks() will call cpu_to_node().
The cpu_to_node() depends on percpu "numa_node" which is initialized in:
     arch_call_rest_init() --> rest_init() -- kernel_init()
	--> kernel_init_freeable() --> smp_prepare_cpus()

But init_irq_stacks() is called in init_IRQ() which is before
arch_call_rest_init().

So in init_irq_stacks(), the cpu_to_node() does not work, it
always return 0. In NUMA, it makes the node 1 cpu accesses the IRQ stack which
is in the node 0.

This patch fixes it by:
  1.) export the early_cpu_to_node(), and use it in the init_irq_stacks().
  2.) change init_irq_stacks() to __init function.

Johan Hovold cdcd8df577 arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: fix USB DP/DM HS PHY interrupts
commit 204f9ed4ba upstream.

The USB DP/DM HS PHY interrupts need to be provided by the PDC interrupt
controller in order to be able to wake the system up from low-power
states and to be able to detect disconnect events, which requires
triggering on falling edges.

A recent commit updated the trigger type but failed to change the
interrupt provider as required. This leads to the current Linux driver
failing to probe instead of printing an error during suspend and USB
wakeup not working as intended.

The rtc on the mox shares its interrupt line with the moxtet bus. Set
the interrupt type to be consistent between both devices. This ensures

Oliver Upton 12c2759ab1 KVM: arm64: vgic-its: Avoid potential UAF in LPI translation cache
commit ad362fe07f upstream.

There is a potential UAF scenario in the case of an LPI translation
cache hit racing with an operation that invalidates the cache, such
as a DISCARD ITS command. The root of the problem is that
vgic_its_check_cache() does not elevate the refcount on the vgic_irq
before dropping the lock that serializes refcount changes.

Have vgic_its_check_cache() raise the refcount on the returned vgic_irq
and add the corresponding decrement after queueing the interrupt.

Marc Zyngier d99976d145 KVM: arm64: vgic-v4: Restore pending state on host userspace write
commit 7b95382f96 upstream.

When the VMM writes to ISPENDR0 to set the state pending state of
an SGI, we fail to convey this to the HW if this SGI is already
backed by a GICv4.1 vSGI.

This is a bit of a corner case, as this would only occur if the
vgic state is changed on an already running VM, but this can
apparently happen across a guest reset driven by the VMM.

Fix this by always writing out the pending_latch value to the
HW, and reseting it to false.

Dmitry Baryshkov df4f5a35c5 arm64: dts: qcom: sm8150-hdk: fix SS USB regulators

The SM8150-HDK uses two different regulators to power up SuperSpeed USB
PHYs. The L5A regulator is used for the second USB host, while the first
(OTG) USB host uses different regulator, L18A. Fix the regulator for the
usb_1 QMPPHY and (to remove possible confusion) drop the
usb_ss_dp_core_1/_2 labels.
