f295dfc831 net: phy: broadcom: Only advertise EEE for supported modes
[ Upstream commit c056d480b4 ]

We should not be advertising EEE for modes that we do not support,
correct that oversight by looking at the PHY device supported linkmodes.

3190ca3b5f net: phy: broadcom: don't export RDB/legacy access methods
Don't export __bcm_phy_enable_rdb_access() and
__bcm_phy_enable_legacy_access() functions. They aren't used outside this
module and it was forgotten to provide a prototype for these functions.
Just make them static for now.

11ecf8c55b net: phy: broadcom: add cable test support
Most modern broadcom PHYs support ECD (enhanced cable diagnostics). Add
support for it in the bcm-phy-lib so they can easily be used in the PHY
driver.

There are two access methods for ECD: legacy by expansion registers and
via the new RDB registers which are exclusive. Provide functions in two
variants where the PHY driver can choose from. To keep things simple for
now, we just switch the register access to expansion registers in the
RDB variant for now. On the flipside, we have to keep a bus lock to
prevent any other non-legacy access on the PHY.

The results of the intra-pair tests are inconclusive (at least for the
BCM54140). Most of the times half the length is reported but sometimes
the length is correct.

7d7e7bce76 net: phy: broadcom: add exp register access methods without buslock
Add helper to read and write expansion registers without taking the mdio
lock.

Please note, that this changes the semantics of the read and write.
Before there was no lock between selecting the expansion register and
the actual read/write. This may lead to access failures if there are
parallel accesses. Instead take the bus lock during the whole access
cycle.

733a969a7e net: phy: broadcom: Fix auxiliary control register reads
We are currently doing auxiliary control register reads with the shadow
register value 0b111 (0x7) which incidentally is also the selector value
that should be present in bits [2:0]. Fix this by using the appropriate
selector mask which is defined (MII_BCM54XX_AUXCTL_SHDWSEL_MASK).

This does not have a functional impact yet because we always access the
MII_BCM54XX_AUXCTL_SHDWSEL_MISC (0x7) register in the current code.
This might change at some point though.

6c3442f5f8 drivers: net: replace UINT64_MAX with U64_MAX
U64_MAX is well defined now while the UINT64_MAX is not, so we fall
back to drivers' own definition as below:

	#ifndef UINT64_MAX
	#define UINT64_MAX             (u64)(~((u64)0))
	#endif

I believe this is in one phy driver then copied and pasted to other phy
drivers.

Replace the UINT64_MAX with U64_MAX to clean up the source code.

Our statistics strings are allocated at initialization without being
bound to a specific size, yet, we would copy ETH_GSTRING_LEN bytes using
memcpy() which would create out of bounds accesses, this was flagged by
KASAN. Replace this with strlcpy() to make sure we are bound the source
buffer size and we also always NUL-terminate strings.
