01ef75a257 net: microchip: vcap api: Always enable VCAP lookups
This changes the VCAP lookups state to always be enabled so that it is
possible to add "internal" VCAP rules that must be available even though
the user has not yet enabled the VCAP chains via a TC matchall filter.

The API callback to enable and disable VCAP lookups is therefore removed.

76761babaa net: lan966x: Allow to add rules in TCAM even if not enabled
The blamed commit implemented the vcap_operations to allow to add an
entry in the TCAM. One of the callbacks is to validate the supported
keysets. If the TCAM lookup was not enabled, then this will return
failure so no entries could be added.
This doesn't make much sense, as you can enable at a later point the
TCAM. Therefore change it such to allow entries in TCAM even it is not
enabled.

588ab2dc25 net: sparx5: Fix reading of the MAC address
There is an issue with the checking of the return value of
'of_get_mac_address', which returns 0 on success and negative value on
failure. The driver interpretated the result the opposite way. Therefore
if there was a MAC address defined in the DT, then the driver was
generating a random MAC address otherwise it would use address 0.
Fix this by checking correctly the return value of 'of_get_mac_address'

d717f9474e net: lan966x: Fix configuration of the PCS
When the PCS was taken out of reset, we were changing by mistake also
the speed to 100 Mbit. But in case the link was going down, the link
up routine was setting correctly the link speed. If the link was not
getting down then the speed was forced to run at 100 even if the
speed was something else.
On lan966x, to set the speed link to 1G or 2.5G a value of 1 needs to be
written in DEV_CLOCK_CFG_LINK_SPEED. This is similar to the procedure in
lan966x_port_init.

The issue was reproduced using 1000base-x sfp module using the commands:
ip link set dev eth2 up
ip link addr add 10.97.10.2/24 dev eth2
ethtool -s eth2 speed 1000 autoneg off

72df3489fb net: lan966x: Add ptp trap rules
Currently lan966x, doesn't allow to run PTP over interfaces that are
part of the bridge. The reason is when the lan966x was receiving a

frames to the CPU, it is possible to run PTP also over interfaces that

c1d8e3fb1a net: microchip: vcap: Change how the rule id is generated
Currently whenever a new rule id is generated, it picks up the next
number bigger than previous id. So it would always be 1, 2, 3, etc.
When the rule with id 1 will be deleted and a new rule will be added,
it will have the id 4 and not id 1.
In theory this can be a problem if at some point a rule will be added
and removed ~0 times. Then no more rules can be added because there
are no more ids.

Change this such that when a new rule is added, search for an empty
rule id starting with value of 1 as value 0 is reserved.

This adds API methods to set and get a rule counter.

A VCAP instance may contain the counter as part of the VCAP cache area, and
this counter may be one or more bits in width. This type of counter
automatically increments it value when the rule is hit.

Other VCAP instances have a dedicated counter area outside of the VCAP and
in this case the rule must contain the counter id to be able to locate the
counter value. In this case there must also be a rule action that updates
the counter using the rule id when the rule is hit.

The Sparx5 IS2 VCAP uses a dedicated counter area.

- The VLAN rules use classified VLAN information, and to get the
classification information into the frame metadata, the ingress port need
to be added to a bridge with the VID and vlan filtering enabled, like
  this (using VID 600 and four ports eth12, eth13, eth14 and eth15):

ip link add name br5 type bridge
ip link set dev br5 up

fc57062f98 net: lan966x: Fix unmapping of received frames using FDMA
When lan966x was receiving a frame, then it was building the skb and
after that it was calling dma_unmap_single with frame size as the
length. This actually has 2 issues:
1. It is using a length to map and a different length to unmap.
2. When the unmap was happening, the data was sync for cpu but it could
be that this will overwrite what build_skb was initializing.

The fix for these two problems is to change the order of operations.
First to sync the frame for cpu, then to build the skb and in the end to
unmap using the correct size but without sync the frame again for cpu.

872ad758f9 net: lan966x: Fix FDMA when MTU is changed
When MTU is changed, FDMA is required to calculate what is the maximum
size of the frame that it can received. So it can calculate what is the
page order needed to allocate for the received frames.
The first problem was that, when the max MTU was calculated it was
reading the value from dev and not from HW, so in this way it was
missing L2 header + the FCS.
The other problem was that once the skb is created using
__build_skb_around, it would reserve some space for skb_shared_info.
So if we received a frame which size is at the limit of the page order
then the creating will failed because it would not have space to put all
the data.

4a4b6848d1 net: lan966x: Stop replacing tx dcbs and dcbs_buf when changing MTU
When a frame is sent using FDMA, the skb is mapped and then the mapped
address is given to an tx dcb that is different than the last used tx
dcb. Once the HW finish with this frame, it would generate an interrupt
and then the dcb can be reused and memory can be freed. For each dcb
there is an dcb buf that contains some meta-data(is used by PTP, is
it free). There is 1 to 1 relationship between dcb and dcb_buf.
The following issue was observed. That sometimes after changing the MTU
to allocate new tx dcbs and dcbs_buf, two frames were not
transmitted. The frames were not transmitted because when reloading the
tx dcbs, it was always presuming to use the first dcb but that was not
always happening. Because it could be that the last tx dcb used before
changing MTU was first dcb and then when it tried to get the next dcb it
would take dcb 1 instead of 0. Because it is supposed to take a
different dcb than the last used one. This can be fixed simply by
changing tx->last_in_use to -1 when the fdma is disabled to reload the
new dcb and dcbs_buff.
But there could be a different issue. For example, right after the frame
is sent, the MTU is changed. Now all the dcbs and dcbs_buf will be
cleared. And now get the interrupt from HW that it finished with the
frame. So when we try to clear the skb, it is not possible because we
lost all the dcbs_buf.
The solution here is to stop replacing the tx dcbs and dcbs_buf when
changing MTU because the TX doesn't care what is the MTU size, it is
only the RX that needs this information.

683e05c032 net: microchip: sparx5: Writing rules to the IS2 VCAP
This adds rule encoding functionality to the VCAP API.

A rule consists of keys and actions in separate cache sections.

The maximum size of the keyset or actionset determines the size of the
rule.

The VCAP hardware need to be able to distinguish different rule sizes from
each other, and for that purpose some extra typegroup bits are added to the
rule when it is encoded.

The API provides a bit stream iterator that allows highlevel encoding
functionality to add key and action value bits independent of typegroup
bits.

This is handled by letting the concrete VCAP model provide the typegroup
table for the different rule sizes.
After the key and action values have been added to the encoding bit streams
the typegroup bits are set to their correct values just before the rule is
written to the VCAP hardware.

The key and action offsets provided in the VCAP model are the offset before
adding the typegroup bits.

This means that no matter what frame type is received on any front port it
will generate the MAC_ETYPE keyset in the IS VCAP and any rule in the IS2
VCAP that uses this keyset will be matched against the keys in the
MAC_ETYPE keyset.

The callback interface used by the VCAP API is populated with Sparx5
specific handler functions that takes care of the actual reading and
writing to data to the Sparx5 IS2 VCAP instance.

A few functions are also added to the VCAP API to support addition of rule
fields such as the ingress port mask and the lookup bit.

The IS2 VCAP in Sparx5 is really divided in two instances with lookup 0
and 1 in the first instance and lookup 2 and 3 in the second instance.
The lookup bit selects lookup 0 or 3 in the respective instance when it is
set.

45533a534a net: lan966x: Fix taking rtnl_lock while holding spin_lock
When the HW deletes an entry in MAC table then it generates an
interrupt. The SW will go through it's own list of MAC entries and if it
is not found then it would notify the listeners about this. The problem
is that when the SW will go through it's own list it would take a spin
lock(lan966x->mac_lock) and when it notifies that the entry is deleted.
But to notify the listeners it taking the rtnl_lock which is illegal.

This is fixed by instead of notifying right away that the entry is
deleted, move the entry on a temp list and once, it checks all the
entries then just notify that the entries from temp list are deleted.

At the moment, if devm_of_phy_get() returns an error the serdes

is a particular bug that network isn't working if the serdes driver is
compiled as a module. In that case, devm_of_phy_get() returns
-EDEFER_PROBE and the error is silently ignored.

The serdes is optional, it is not there if the port is using RGMII, in
which case devm_of_phy_get() returns -ENODEV. Rearrange the error
handling so that -ENODEV will be handled but other error codes will
abort the probing.

The following two scenarios were failing for lan966x.
1. If the port had the address X and then trying to assign the same

the same the HW remove it.
2. If the port eth0 was assigned the same address as one of the other

was deleting the address of eth1.

The case 1. is fixed by checking if the port has already the same

Ethernet frames can be extracted or injected to or from the device's
DDR memory. There is one channel for injection and one channel for
extraction. Each of these channels contain a linked list of DCBs which
contains DB. The DCB contains only 1 DB for both the injection and
extraction. Each DB contains a frame. Every time when a frame is received
or transmitted an interrupt is generated.

It is not possible to use both the FDMA and the manual
injection/extraction of the frames. Therefore the FDMA has priority over
the manual because of better performance values.

d7a947d289 net: lan966x: Fix when a port's upper is changed.
On lan966x it is not allowed to have foreign interfaces under a bridge
which already contains lan966x ports. So when a port leaves the bridge
it would call switchdev_bridge_port_unoffload which eventually will
notify the other ports that bridge left the vlan group but that is not
true because the bridge is still part of the vlan group.

Therefore when a port leaves the bridge, stop generating replays because
already the HW cleared after itself and the other ports don't need to do
anything else.

6476f90aef net: lan966x: Fix IGMP snooping when frames have vlan tag
In case an IGMP frame has a vlan tag, then the function
lan966x_hw_offload couldn't figure out that is a IGMP frame. Therefore
the SW thinks that the frame was already forward by the HW which is not
true.
Extend lan966x_hw_offload to pop the vlan tag if are any and then check
for IGMP frames.

eb9c0d671e net: lan966x: Update lan966x_ptp_get_nominal_value
The clk_per_cfg register represents the value added to the system clock
for each clock cycle. The issue is that the default value is wrong,
meaning that in case the DUT was a grandmaster then everone in the
network was too slow. In case there was a grandmaster, then there is no
issue because the DUT will configure clk_per_cfg register based on the
master frequency.

af9b45d08e net: sparx5: Add arbiter for managing PGID table
The PGID (Port Group ID) table holds port masks
for different purposes. The first 72 are reserved
for port destination masks, flood masks, and CPU
forwarding. The rest are shared between multicast,
link aggregation, and virtualization profiles. The
GLAG area is reserved to not be used by anything
else, since it is a subset of the MCAST area.

The arbiter keeps track of which entries are in
use. You can ask for a free ID or give back one
you are done using.
