Maciej Żenczykowski 0da41ddfb2 net: ipv6: support reporting otherwise unknown prefix flags in RTM_NEWPREFIX [ Upstream commit `bd4a816752` ] Lorenzo points out that we effectively clear all unknown flags from PIO when copying them to userspace in the netlink RTM_NEWPREFIX notification. We could fix this one at a time as new flags are defined, or in one fell swoop - I choose the latter. We could either define 6 new reserved flags (reserved1..6) and handle them individually (and rename them as new flags are defined), or we could simply copy the entire unmodified byte over - I choose the latter. This unfortunately requires some anonymous union/struct magic, so we add a static assert on the struct size for a little extra safety. Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.  The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
