Expedited grace periods use workqueue handlers that wake up the requesters, but there is no lock mediating this wakeup. Therefore, memory barriers are required to ensure that the handler's memory references are seen by all to occur before synchronize_*_expedited() returns to its caller. Possibly detected by syzkaller. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
