Florian Westphal 54044b1f02 netfilter: conntrack: remove prealloc support It was used by the nat extension, but since commit `7c96643519` ("netfilter: move nat hlist_head to nf_conn") its only needed for connections that use MASQUERADE target or a nat helper. Also it seems a lot easier to preallocate a fixed size instead. With default settings, conntrack first adds ecache extension (sysctl defaults to 1), so we get 40(ct extension header) + 24 (ecache) == 64 byte on x86_64 for initial allocation. Followup patches can constify the extension structs and avoid the initial zeroing of the entire extension area. Linux kernel
============

This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst

Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users.
These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
