Erwan Le Ray 59ed254dd3 serial: stm32: re-introduce an irq flag condition in usart_receive_chars [ Upstream commit `cc58d0a3f0` ] Re-introduce an irq flag condition in usart_receive_chars. This condition has been deleted by commit `75f4e830fa` ("serial: do not restore interrupt state in sysrq helper"). This code was present to handle threaded case, and has been removed because it is no more needed in this case. Nevertheless an irq safe lock is still needed in some cases, when DMA should be stopped to receive errors or breaks in PIO mode. This patch is a precursor to the complete rework or stm32 serial driver DMA implementation. Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.  The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
