1) Handle notifier registry failures properly in tun/tap driver, from

2) Fix bpf verifier handling of subtraction bounds and add a testcase

These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
