65769162ae i2c: designware-pci: Group AMD NAVI quirk parts together
The code is ogranized in a way that all related parts
to the certain platform quirk go together. This is not
the case for AMD NAVI. Shuffle code to make it happen.

While at it, drop the frequency definition and use
hard coded value as it's done for other platforms and
add a comment to the PCI ID list.

3616936972 i2c: microchip: pci1xxxx: Add driver for I2C host controller in multifunction endpoint of pci1xxxx switch
Microchip pci1xxxx is an unmanaged PCIe3.1a Switch for Consumer,
Industrial and Automotive applications. This switch has multiple
downstream ports. In one of the Switch's Downstream port, there
is a multifunction endpoint for peripherals which includes an I2C
host controller. The I2C function in the endpoint operates at 100KHz,
400KHz and 1 MHz and has buffer depth of 128 bytes.
This patch provides the I2C controller driver for the I2C function
of the switch.

19e13e1330 i2c: mlxbf: support BlueField-3 SoC
BlueField-3 SoC has the same I2C IP logic as previous
BlueField-1 and 2 SoCs but it has different registers' addresses.
This is an effort to keep this driver generic across all
BlueField generations.
This patch breaks down the "smbus" resource into 3 separate
resources to enable us to use common registers' offsets for all
BlueField SoCs:
struct mlxbf_i2c_resource *timer;
struct mlxbf_i2c_resource *mst;
struct mlxbf_i2c_resource *slv;

Of course, all offsets had to be adjusted accordingly, and we took
this chance to reorganize the macros depending on the register block
they target.

There are only 2 registers' offsets that do not fit within this
schema so their offsets are passed as SoC-specific parameters:
smbus_master_rs_bytes_off
smbus_master_fsm_off

Linux is not the only entity using the BlueField I2C busses so

874765c925 i2c: muxes: Drop obsolete dependency on COMPILE_TEST
Since commit 0166dc11be ("of: make CONFIG_OF user selectable"), it
is possible to test-build any driver which depends on OF on any
architecture by explicitly selecting OF. Therefore depending on
COMPILE_TEST as an alternative is no longer needed.

It is actually better to always build such drivers with OF enabled,
so that the test builds are closer to how each driver will actually be
built on its intended target. Building them without OF may not test
much as the compiler will optimize out potentially large parts of the
code. In the worst case, this could even pop false positive warnings.
Dropping COMPILE_TEST here improves the quality of our testing and
avoids wasting time on non-existent issues.

d98bdd3a5b i2c: imx: Make sure to unregister adapter on remove()
If for whatever reasons pm_runtime_resume_and_get() fails and .remove() is
exited early, the i2c adapter stays around and the irq still calls its
handler, while the driver data and the register mapping go away. So if
later the i2c adapter is accessed or the irq triggers this results in
havoc accessing freed memory and unmapped registers.

So unregister the software resources even if resume failed, and only skip
the hardware access in that case.

9fdf6d97f0 i2c: cadence: Support PEC for SMBus block read
SMBus packet error checking (PEC) is implemented by appending one
additional byte of checksum data at the end of the message. This provides
additional protection and allows to detect data corruption on the I2C bus.

SMBus block reads support variable length reads. The first byte in the read
message is the number of available data bytes.

The combination of PEC and block read is currently not supported by the
Cadence I2C driver.
 * When PEC is enabled the maximum transfer length for block reads
increases from 33 to 34 bytes.
 * The I2C core smbus emulation layer relies on the driver updating the
`i2c_msg` `len` field with the number of received bytes. The updated
length is used when checking the PEC.

Add support to the Cadence I2C driver for handling SMBus block reads with
PEC. To determine the maximum transfer length uses the initial `len` value
of the `i2c_msg`. When PEC is enabled this will be 2, when it is disabled
it will be 1.

Once a read transfer is done also increment the `len` field by the amount
of received data bytes.

This change has been tested with a UCM90320 PMBus power monitor, which
requires block reads to access certain data fields, but also has PEC
enabled by default.

913ee46905 i2c: qcom-geni: Propagate GENI_ABORT_DONE to geni_i2c_abort_xfer()
Waiting for M_CMD_ABORT_EN in geni_i2c_abort_xfer() races with the
interrupt handler which will read and clear the abort bit, the result is
that every abort attempt takes 1 second and is followed by a message
about the abort having times out.

Introduce a new state variable to carry the abort_done state from the
interrupt handler back to geni_i2c_abort_xfer(). Also, turn NACK
and TIMEOUT errors into debug messages

4ca8ca873d i2c: cadence: Change large transfer count reset logic to be unconditional
Problems were observed on the Xilinx ZynqMP platform with large I2C reads.
When a read of 277 bytes was performed, the controller NAKed the transfer
after only 252 bytes were transferred and returned an ENXIO error on the
transfer.

There is some code in cdns_i2c_master_isr to handle this case by resetting
the transfer count in the controller before it reaches 0, to allow larger
transfers to work, but it was conditional on the CDNS_I2C_BROKEN_HOLD_BIT
quirk being set on the controller, and ZynqMP uses the r1p14 version of
the core where this quirk is not being set. The requirement to do this to
support larger reads seems like an inherently required workaround due to
the core only having an 8-bit transfer size register, so it does not
appear that this should be conditional on the broken HOLD bit quirk which
is used elsewhere in the driver.

Remove the dependency on the CDNS_I2C_BROKEN_HOLD_BIT for this transfer
size reset logic to fix this problem.
