About this package
DIY baby monitor audio stream and noise alerts Three systemd user services for a Linux host with a USB microphone: diy-babycam-stream serves the microphone as an MP3 stream over HTTP using VLC, diy-babycam-web serves a small web page that embeds that stream, and diy-babycam-audio-watch watches the microphone level and sends an ntfy.sh push notification when it gets loud. . Configure the microphone and ntfy URL in /etc/default/diy-babycam, then run "systemctl --user enable --now diy-babycam-stream diy-babycam-web diy-babycam-audio-watch" as the user that owns the audio session.
