About this package
DIY baby monitor with browser audio/video and noise alerts Two systemd user services for a Linux host with a USB microphone and webcam. diy-babycam-web serves a web page that plays the microphone (MP3) and/or the webcam (motion JPEG) in a browser, using ffmpeg; diy-babycam-audio-watch watches the microphone level and sends an ntfy.sh push notification when it gets loud. . The microphone and webcam are detected automatically. Put your ntfy URL in /etc/default/diy-babycam, then run "systemctl --user enable --now diy-babycam-web diy-babycam-audio-watch" as the user that owns the audio session.
